UConn and Georgetown will renew their Big East rivalry with a home-and-home series beginning in 2015-16, the two schools announced on Friday.

The Huskies will host the Hoyas on Jan. 23, 2016 before returning the favor at the Verizon Center on Jan. 21, 2017.

The game at UConn will be played in Hartford, according to the release from Georgetown.

The Georgetown series is just another addition to a stacked upcoming non-conference slate for UConn. Earlier this offseason, the Huskies agreed to series with both Ohio State and Arizona. They will also participate in that ridiculous Nike event in 2017 — a pair of tournaments that tentatively includes Duke, North Carolina, Kentucky, Florida, Texas, Ohio State and more.

Jamie Dixon has said that UConn and Pitt are looking to rekindle that old rivalry as well, but nothing is confirmed.
