I Have Officially Decided That I Will Continue To Pursue My Dream At The University Of Connecticut And Play For Coach Kevin Ollie #Huskies

UConn head coach Kevin Ollie has officially landed his first recruit since inking a 5-year contract extension earlier this summer. And it’s a big one. Roxbury, Mass. native Jalen Adams announced on twitter Monday morning that he has committed to the university, adding more backcourt talent to a 2015-2016 roster that should be loading with high-end guards.
Adams is a 4-star recruit (ESPN), who can handle the ball, but is listed as a shooting guard. He stands 6’2″ and weighs 160 lbs, and will probably look to bulk up a bit under the supervision of UConn’s training staff. And of course, the Huskies have had some luck with guards from Roxbury in the form of two-time champion Shabazz Napier.
The commitment is a big off-season victory for Ollie who has been very active with top-50 recruits this summer. With Adams now on board, look for others to follow suit before the fall.
