Down to the Final Four

round5

Well folks, we’ve made it to the finish line. A month ago we started with the best 64 players ever to don a UConn jersey. Now, thousands of votes later, we’re down to four.

In the Elite Eight, Kemba Walker fended off Khalid El-Amin, Ray Allen bested Caron Butler, and Emeka Okafor defeated former teammate Ben Gordon. And in the most-heated match-up, Donyell Marshall edged past Rip Hamilton.

Tonight, we begin the Final Four, with Ray Allen v Emeka Okafor. Tomorrow, you’ll have a chance to vote for Donyell or Kemba. The title matchup goes live on Sunday, and on National Championship Monday, we’ll be announcing the winner of the Ultimate UConn Challenge.

  1. Sorry, but this thing has officially jumped the shark. A “final four” with out Rip? It was a nice idea, but I’ve seen enough….

  2. love yell and rip, but one brought home the first nat’l championship while the other missed free throws against florida in the sweetsixteen

  3. It’s all a moot point since Kemba is #1.

Also, I’m not sure you understand what jumping the shark means.
