Washington fans probably aren’t big UConn lovers, given that we knocked them out of the NCAA tournament in pretty painful fashion a couple of times. I was at the game in 2006, and Brandon Roy was the best player on the court. If his knees hadn’t gone to hell, he’d probably still be an all-star guard. Add in Detlef Schrempf and not one, but two pint-sized point guards, and you’ve got a fun team to watch. Hawes is a quality big, but the centers are mostly oafs. I don’t expect them to get out of the first round, but I’d tune into this just to see if Thomas and Robinson are ever on the court together.
