Nickname: Wolverines

Michigan is sure to be the coolest team in the tournament, with their black socks and their rippity rap music. They also look like they’ll be maybe the biggest team in the tournament, with both starting guards standing around 6’8”. That could create some serious matchup problems, but bigger players can be susceptible to smaller, quicker ones.

All things considered, Webber and Rice are a terrific inside-out combo, and Webber’s willingness to play the ball back out to the perimeter will be an excellent weapon. The bench is loaded, featuring the shockingly not-related Cazzie and Campy Russell. This team does a lot of things well, but quickness may be an issue against some teams.
