Given the history, the titles, the names, UCLA is the smart pick for #1. I know that Walton never played forward, but what was I going to do, leave him on the bench? As it is, they’re starting two of (probably) the five best big men in college history. They’ll do all right on the perimeter with Johnson and Miller, and Hazzard was a fantastic point guard in college. They’re able to bring extra ball-handling off the bench in Davis and Goodrich, more rebounding with O’Bannon, and just two other great big men in Love and Wicks. This team is stacked and will be tough to beat.
