Alabama provides a shockingly good starting five, though the bench leaves a bit to be desired. McDyess is a force inside, complemented nicely by the versatile Horry and Wallace. The mercurial Spreewell brings ample scoring power on the perimeter, with a consistent shooter in Williams providing floor spacing. While they’re not known as an elite program, don’t be surprised if Alabama shocks a higher seed in the second round.
