Jackson, ranked #51 in the class of 2016, is the fourth member of a now-loaded class that already boasts big men Juwan Durham (#31) and Mamadou Diarra (#118), as well as point guard Alterique Gilbert (#33).
Jackson is lauded for his exceptional shooting range, and possesses superb size for a wing player. He ultimately chose UConn over California after visiting both schools in recent weeks. Jackson was seen with Ollie and Daniel Hamilton at the UConn football game against Navy on Sept. 26.
With this commitment, Ollie has solidified his 2016 class as one of the best in country, currently ranked #3 on 247Sports.com, and that’s without counting incoming transfer Terry Larrier, formerly #34 in the class of 2014. With another big recruiting win, Kevin Ollie has proven himself to be an ace recruiter, and the Huskies should continue to pull in top talent as long as he’s around.
