Every Monday (approx.) we will update the Big Man Power Ranking, heavily influenced by the play of the forwards and centers in the prior week’s games.
1Terry Larrier [Last Week: 1]
Larrier is very good. He didn’t have to do a whole lot against Queens (not a real team; more of a figment of your imagination), but still showed the skillset that’s going to keep him atop this list. He should make some threes though.

2Josh Carlton [5]
20 points without committing a foul gets you to number two on this list. Carlton manhandled Queens on Sunday and showcased his offensive skills, which are a pleasant surprise.

THIS SEASON
3Eric Cobb [4]
Cobb didn’t start on Sunday, and only played 11 minutes, but did score six points to accompany five rebounds. He’s been solid, if unspectacular, through exhibition season.
THIS WEEK
THIS SEASON
4Tyler Polley [3]
Polley continues to show good skills. He had six assists while starting against Queens. He may not be able to put all the pieces together this season but he’s definitely showing he can contribute right now.

THIS SEASON
5Mamadou Diarra [2]
Diarra barely played on Sunday — by design of Kevin Ollie — though he does still appear to be near the top of the depth chart. We won’t be too punitive considering Diarra should have excelled over the non-big bigs of Queens if given more than six minutes of action.

THIS SEASON
6Isaiah Whaley [6]
Whaley continues to be solid. It’ll be interesting to see how his athleticism translates against better opponents but Pork Chop should continue to play a key role in the rotation.

THIS SEASON
7Kwintin Williams [7]
Sunday’s game against Queens confirmed that Kwint should never attempt a three-pointer. His two attempts this season have been… bad. Kwint is still getting his feet wet at the D1 level but seems to be adjusting well enough. One huge dunk is going to vault him up this list.
