First of all, the Dons? Like, they’re named after a guy named Don? Is this a mob thing? Was the mob big in San Francisco? Anyway, I didn’t even know that San Francisco had a credible basketball program, but apparently that’s where some really good players, like Cartwright, KC Jones, and Bill “Literally Can’t Wear All Of My NBA Championship Rings At Once Because I Don’t Have Enough Fingers” Russell, plied their respective amateur trades in the 50s, 60s, and 70s. Who knew? Apart from, like, San Francisco alum. This could make for an interesting first round matchup against Oklahoma, and perhaps I should have rated this team a fair bit higher. Well, I am but one man, and I never saw any of these guys play, so… whatever.
