While the Bruins are the logical pick to win this thing, I can’t stop thinking that UNC should come away with it. They’ll play a little smaller than UCLA, though Daugherty and McAdoo were both sensational big men. The strength of this team is definitely on the wings, with James Worthy and Michael Jordan. Phil Ford was a stud in college whose NBA career started out strong, but eventually fizzled out. Wallace is a terrific rim protector to be able to bring in to spell Daugherty, Jamison, Carter, and Scott provide great depth, and Kenny “Jet” Smith brings great speed.
