As any of our regular readers know, we here at A Dime Back enjoy all things stupid, useless and utterly time-wasting. With that said, we are excited to announce a new feature: The ADB Mailbag! Readers (that would be you) send us questions (please, so we don’t have to make them up) and we answer them. They can be about sports (UConn obviously, but all sport questions are welcome. Except golf. Fuck golf.), pop culture, food, relationships (Ha!) or really any nonsense you want to ask us.
For example: What is the best kind of pizza?
Answer: New Haven pizza is obviously the best, with New York a close second, and if you come at me with talk about deep dish, you can get right the fuck out and take your weird-ass casserole “pizza” with you.
And then you can all tell me I’m wrong on Twitter. See? Isn’t this fun?
Wait, here’s another, from ADB reader “Ross”: Is Nnamdi the best player in UConn history to have a first name that starts with two of the same consonants?
Answer: After extensive research (stop laughing), we have determined that he is the only player that meets this criteria, so, um, yes. Thanks for your question, “Ross.”
You’re probably asking yourselves, isn’t that what they do over at Grantland? Well, Bill Simmons is out, and someone needs to step in.
Wait, you’re probably thinking, don’t they do that at Deadspin, too? First, shut up. Second, I’m a chick. They don’t have a chick answering questions. That makes this special and different. And we’re going to assume you clowns ask about UConn, and really, where else can you get that kind of service?
This feature will appear pretty much whenever we have enough questions and are too lazy to come up with something else to write about. So send in your questions! The more ridiculous, the better. Though real questions are encouraged, too. We’re not total amateurs here. (I said stop laughing.)
Submit your question using the form below, or by selecting “More” in the main menu, followed by “Submit Mailbag Questions.”
