Everyone knows that UConn has the greatest mascot of all the mascot, the best dog of all dogs, Jonathan XIV, who was preceded by the majestic Jonathan XIII. Look at those amazing doggos.
But there are lots of other dogs in the UConn family. Many former Huskies have some truly outstanding doggos in their life. So I decided to rank them. “But Meghan, isn’t this just an excuse to post pictures of dogs?” Hell yes it is. These are all the dogs we could find via social media, the sole purpose of which is (or should be) to spread images of dogs far and wide. If you know of a UConn doggo that we missed (or you have a UConn doggo you want to share) then please view this post as an invitation to send me all the pics of all the dogs. There is never I time when I do not want to see pictures of your dog, and I will happily update this post with any good dogs I receive. Send them to me on the Twitter @MeghanBard.
Anyway, let’s get down to it. It’s important to remember that all dogs are good dogs, and all of these dogs are extra good because they are UConn dogs, so the ranking on this list should not be considered a slight against any dogs, because we would never do that. Dogs are great.

Dre has a brown lab dog, and I had a brown lab dog and she was the best dog in the world, so I can only assume this dog is also the best dog.

Meet Boat’s son Bentley. He has his own IG. He is a great dog.
1. (tied) Ed Nelson
Honestly, there is no way we could finish off this list with any dog but this one. A Husky with a husky. It’s too perfect. (Also, excellent decorating job, nice work.)
